Mezza9

HHello all!
Just back from dinner at Mezza 9, Solaris
The restaurant located in a secluded area, cant be spotted from the outside..

If u are looking for a nice place to linger and have some wine/beer, this could be it based on my instinct and preference.. Haha

V ordered a pizza with two flavours, a burger dish, nachos and pasta.

Presenting u hoegaarden, cranberries juice and orange juice..

Chessy nachos with chopped chicken n tomato as dipping sauce.. Yummy! It's just a simple dish, u may buy a packet of tortilla chips n baked it together with cheddar cheese in oven..

Coming up is bacon burger.. This dish was abit dry, i mean it needs more sauce such as mayonnaise or etc, unable to finish this as the grilled chicken was not succulent enough plus the cheese was actually making the burger to have even more dryness..

However, they nailed this dish, carbonara spaghetti.. It was creamy and mushroom flavour balanced well with the creaminess.. Slurppp..

Finally, pizza!! Salmon seafood on the upper side while we opted hawaiian chicken for the other half.. Hawaiian chicken might sounded typical, it is the best flavour ever to me.. =P simple ingredients, pineapple and chicken are the best combination, these two suffice to make the whole dish perfect!

That's all for today!
Have a great Sunday tomorrow peeps! XD
Ciao~

"hashtag" L table by Lavendar

that was fast... =P
i mean my motivation is back!
perhaps it's because im going to post something about nice food~
"hashtag"FoodPorn
went to L.Table by Lavendar at One Utama with my mum and sis.. =)
presenting you.. L table menu..

we ordered one dishes from different selection..
brunch, salad, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, steak, asian delight (this was opted out as we wanted to have western cuisine so much) & dessert (were too stuffed hence we gave up dessert, will definitely come back for the dessert).. ^^

first and foremost, we opted mocha shake instead of cappuccino flavoured shake as I told my sis cappuccino tasted little bitter, therefore we go for mocha and also a fresh apple juice..
granny smith green apple.. yummy~ like it especially the apple juice..

moving forward, I opted Dutch Baby Pancake (from brunch selection)
simple dutch puff baked in cast iron served with powdered sugar, lemon and fruit compote

Norweigian Burger was picked by my sis..
it's a salmon patty burger with cabbage, tomatoes and cheese, served with fries..

Last, it was a thumb up from my mum for this L table club sandwiches
Lettuce, eggs, cheese, turkey bacon and grilled chicken

verdict: it was a sumptuous brunch for the three of us.. enjoyed the food a lot and it totally met our satisfaction..

A lovely Saturday 130907

Had a very lovely joyful happy Saturday with him..
一鄸遮三丑.. It means blurry pic has the ability to cover our flaw.. Our faces are flawless now right? Ahhahaha

And also her... They are my coursemates back in my undergrad life...

Short meet up yet precious moment!
We had brunch together at hokkaido inchiban, 1 utama, one of the largest shopping mall in malaysia i guess.. Haha!

She opted soba, japanese well-known cold noodle.. Yes, i'm pretty sure all of u know, it's served in cold..

His dish... I forgot the name, it was rice with cheese chicken.. The poached egg looked really nice and pretty right? It was really tempting..

As for me, I opted yakisoba.. Hehe^^ fried soba noodle with green pepper, cabbage and some cubed-cut chicken.. The dish had strong spices of fragrance, appetizing..

We also ordered some sushi as side dishes.. Well, there is no doubt sushi is a must-order dish if u dine in japanese restaurant, cant agree more huh? Soft shell crab, seaweed with avocado on top and fish roe.. Yummy~

Second and third plate of sushi... We had fourth plate in the end and i didnt take any photo of it.. Haha!
One heavy brunch for us, costed us rm27 each person, reasonable price as this meal has satisfied our crave for japanese cuisine.. =P our stomach were totally 'overloaded'.. LOL!

white leather strip
square interface.. lol, what am I talking? interface?? =P

7-1.. hidden meaning? =P

the more i see it on my hand, the more i fell for it.. =)

and my first try out at MyBurgerLab
their signature dish - chicken A+ (recommended by the staff)
the line is seriously long and u r advised to be there at 5-6pm if u dont want to stuck in the long queue.

the chicken was succulent and i like the cheddar cheese on top of the meat..
caramelized onions, cabbage with shitake and enoki mushroom, tomatoes as well..
not to forget their famous bamboo charcoal buns!
it was yummy fingers-licking delicious and the fries was nice too!
fries was flavoured with salt, oregano, chili flakes?(i guess, dunno much about seasoning)
there are various beef burgers too, might try it next time?
verdict : delicious but a little bit over-priced.. they should expand their shop and provide more seats. it is literally very crowded considering the shop isn't spacious..

Thistle Hotel, Port Dickson

Last weekend I had my first ever company trip.
Destination : Thistle Hotel, Port Dickson
It was a two days one night trip, it was actually a team building trip.
I've been to several team building training in the past six month with this company,
those were just small-sized training designed to accommodate 20+ person.
however this one was to train the entire company, well, to be more exact, Malaysia branch only.
so here we go for all the photos.
the hotel we stayed for this 2d1n event.
Thistle
It's a FIVE-star hotel! ^^
I guess this was my first time staying in a 5-star hotel.
Service was nonetheless somewhat better compared to 3/4-star.
what makes it 5-star then?
the great view?
or the extraordinary beautiful interior?
we'll see then.
let's proceed, shall we?

the lobby section [1]
lot of comfy cushion seat for the hotel dwellers with sufficient of sunlight striking in the lobby.
yes, nothing beats the natural sunlight.

lobby section [2]

lobby section [3]
does the big pillars make it look grand and luxurious?

view from the lobby.
there is a big swimming pool right in front of the hotel.
the swimming is really big, as in I really mean it, it's huge!!
and I wanted to jump into the pool so much but too bad time didn't allow me to do so
*was so sad about it literally* =(
timetable was too packed with the team building activities,
we barely even have time for ourselves except lunch/dinner/breakfast/coffee break/sleep.

some coconut tress planted around the hotel.
It is beside the beach after all, of course you would spot some coconut trees.

the room. Long corridor with bathroom on the left hand side.
towels (both the facial and for body), bath robe, slippers were nicely folded and put on the cabinet waiting to serve you
not to forget, toothbrush and toothpaste were provided as well.

Two single bed since two person were sharing the room.
there is a place right beside the window for you to sitand enjoy the view,
I like that, wonder what does the designer call this part?
the bed was so comfortable and soft.

hazy days. sigh~ it was stink, dislike the smoke and im so sick of it.
the view can be prettier without the haze.

There are six level, and I stayed in the fifth level.

a bar right beside the pool, not particularly special design anymore I assume.
you can enjoy liquor while swimming. =)

this path leads us to the infinity pool.
it was a great path for couple at night, romantic with candle lighting the way.
too bad I'm single. ehheehe~

infinity pool.
was a lil bit disappointed seeing this as this wasn't something i expected.
the infinity was....very small.. lol..
for spectacular view from infinity pool, i guess nothing beats the one at marina bay sand singapore.

panaromic view *it has been a while since I used this my favourite-function*

on our way back to the hotel from the infinity pool.

The pool is huge right??!! =P
finally, end this post with a final panaromic view of Thistle.
nice isn't it?

hazy days ahead in KL, Malaysia.
everyone take good care and drink more water.
eat more fruits, go out when only necessary.
put on mask when going out, outdoor activities are not encouraged though.
