CNY 2013

before the clock ticks to 12am, and calendar been flipped to 28th of February,
would like to update a little bit of the celebration of Chinese New Year (one of the biggest festival celebrated by all the Chinese in the World).

night before 1st day of CNY, we called it 除夕(chu xi)

Chinese's culture...

whole family members will gather at a house/ restaurant to have reunion dinner together.

this year I had my reunion dinner at my uncle's house,

these are the dishes for that night~

blurp~~~ fully stuffed!

for vegan, u can have this dish.

braised mushroom, beancurd, cabbage and glass noodle with ''nam yu''. 

apologies for I don't know what is the name for ''nam yu'' in English.

 for non-vegan, in the other word carnivores.. hehe~

steamed chicken. 

(looked simple but when you have this with all the family members, it tasted much more delicious)

last is the main dish of the night!

prawn, duck, chicken, mushroom, pork, beancurd, scallop, some vegetables and tiny abalone,

all in one bowl~

I still can't believe I bought this pink trouser for myself(fall in love the first time I met it).. haha!

guess my sense of fashion has changed? or my perception of life?

Cousin's wedding again ^^

yup, cousin's wedding again~ (date: 19-01-2013 Saturday)

all three malay cousins of mine have set up their family! yay!

how about me? haha..

I'm still young, single and available~

okay, back to main topic..

it was my cousin nizar's wedding at Dewan Merak Kayangan, Felda.

my dearest brother~

naughty sometimes but he's one caring little brother..

yes, he is, im not bragging..

be good and study hard this year for ur SPM!

dancers were practicing or shall I say they were rehearsing for the performance..

yea, I was there earlier than other guests again as I need to help my cousin to distribute and place the souvenir onto each table.. 

i'm a helpful cousin right? haha

walking behind are my uncle and aunty! I mean from the right that lady is my aunty, then my uncle.

feasting time! there are rendang daging( rendang beef), ayam merah (spicy chicken?), 

don't know what type of fish, pineapples, prawn (which I can't eat due to the fact that I'm allergic toward it),

and the middle one is dhalca. (some kind of indian cuisine dressing for the rice with long beans and carrots and potatoes)

dessert.. ice-cream tapai..

how to say this, tapai is actually fermented pulut..

tasted like vinegar! 

*I dun adore this dish, sorry couz, perhaps chinese doesnt know how to enjoy this*

but I do like the vanilla ice-cream and the dishes shown above! hehe~

there are three colours of the souvenir boxes

it felt so GOOD with the robe on and of course the mortarboard! best moment of my life as well as my parents i guess.. =) haha! apology for few photos only (as I dont like to disclose so many photos of myself, if I were pretty perhaps I'll be posting a lot then, haha)

yay! I have finally graduated!!!! kudos to myself! high five with me?!

WE DINED AT Paddington House of Pancake, The Curve

it was my second visit...

they serve fluffy and soft and yummy pancakes! fluffy? 

hmm, can't think of other words to describe this pancake..

sorry for my poor vocabulary...

So, here's our dishes!

I can assure you I make no mistake this time, vividly remember this name! 

Paddington's style of chicken fajitas.. with sour cream..

not really fond of this sour cream..

finally, our last dish...

sun dried tomato spaghetti with fried mushroom.

was stuffed after the meal... ^_^ 

truly one enjoyable meal, only Happy THREE Friend know the reason..

so after our meal, we went for a stroll at the Street...

lol, did i just say stroll? haha..

window shopped sport attire...we actually hunted for dessert,

too bad we found none..

discovered these cute little badges,

some of them made me think of my Friends in UKM..

so, I bought them as a little gift for my soon-to-be-graduated-friends =)

3 for RM[ten]~

yea, you can hardly find 3 for [ten] nowadays..

other than these happy moments,

there was one horrible memory that I think I will never forget..

WE witnessed a car crash on our way back..

we are truly absolutely lucky to avoid the crash,

it was terrible, we cleary hear the ''bang'' that just happened right in front of us..

a car from the opposite direction smashed through the divider and hit another that was in front of us!

my sis steered the wheel to left and we avoided the crash and also the bumper which was flying towards our direction.. really one horrific accident!

alright, stories end here..
